More Writing Tips…

Writing Tip #404 – Writing a novel can take forever. Here’s a clever way to finish that book more quickly and feel less exhausted in the process.

Rather than waste extra time and energy tapping these keys – : ; “ ‘ ( . , ) ? ! – instead, simply avoid them altogether and just tap on the keys with actual alphabet letters on them. On average, this will save you 27,593 taps on your keyboard on the typical 70,000 word novel.

So, you’ll finish your story faster and with considerably less finger fatigue.

(Punctuation is so old school anyway.)

You’re welcome!
